The Benefits of Renting

As renters, you are able to enjoy very low maintenance costs and the ability to choose a home closer to your workplaces, shops and other destinations. You probably already realize the benefits of renting versus buying a home, such as not having to cut the grass, or pay for any major repairs that are needed. You are able to come home, relax and enjoy the amenities River Oaks has to offer.

Rental Payments

As a friendly reminder, we all know that rent is due on the 1st of each month.  Late fees are assessed if rent is not received by the 5th of the month.  You can pay your rent 24 hours a day.  You can drop off your rent in the office during business hours or drop it in the night drop box located outside the front door anytime day or night.  You can also log onto rentpayment.com and pay your rent online or sign up for The ACH Debit program.  Please be sure to write your apartment number on your rental check.

Maintenance Corner

Screen Repair:  Summer is on its way and we want you to be able to open your windows and enjoy the fresh summer air so please contact the office if you need to have any screens repaired.

Garbage Disposal Tips

To prevent troubles with your disposal becoming clogged, there are just a few simple steps to follow.

  1. Turn on the cold water first.
  2. Turn on your disposal.
  3. Slowly feed scraps into the disposal.
  4. Most importantly, allow the cold water to continue to run about 30 seconds after turning off the disposal so that it flushes everything down through the pipes.  You also should run a tray of ice cubes through your disposal once a month.  This keeps the blades sharp and helps keep it fresh. If you should get an odor, run the rind of an orange through your disposal. Not only will this freshen your disposal, but it makes the whole house smell good.

Bulletin Board Available

What’s Happening?

Stay up-to-date about what’s going on around River Oaks Apartments by reading the bulletin boards located in the entry to the Fitness Center. If you don’t you might miss out on a great party, a fantastic automobile deal or important community information. So keep an eye out for new announcements on the bulletin boards, and feel free to post your own notices as well.

Patio & Balcony Contest

Put your green thumbs to work and get planting those flowers. Win some extra cash and enter in the patio/balcony contest.  We will be judging balconies and patios this July and awarding prizes. Please look for flyers and emails with more information.
